Construction and technical trades Electrical work

Marketing for electricians.

Your customer never sees your work. It's inside the wall.

01 How your customer searches

How your customer looks for an electrician.

Your customer types “electrician near me”. Two competitors are above you. Not because they work better, but because of these four things.

  1. 01 No photos of your own. Your customer can't tell you apart from the other four.
  2. 02 No video. For a €8,000 job, your customer wants to see who's coming.
  3. 03 Facebook has gone quiet. Your last post is from 2023. Is that firm still around?
  4. 04 Not found. Not in Google and not in ChatGPT.

After 12 weeks your customer sees your work. Your own photos, a film of the job and a post from this week. Your name is at the top.

02 What we see among electricians

4 things we see among electricians.

From jobs we filmed and electricians we spoke to.

  1. 01

Your work is inside the wall.

Once it's done, nobody sees it. Your customer judges what they can see: your photos, your reviews and how quickly you call back.

So we film it before the wall is closed up.

  2. 02

    Your customer searches by product.

Your customer types “home EV charger”, not “electrician”. Solar panels, EV chargers, batteries: each gets its own page, and each page is found on its own.

    One general page isn't.

  3. 03

Small jobs get a call. Big jobs get compared.

A socket gets a call to the first electrician on Google. A full rewire gets three quotes, compared for weeks.

Whoever is visible gets the big jobs.

  4. 04

“Compliant” isn't a selling point. It's the standard.

Every electrician says it. Your customer can't hear the difference. But they can see it: a neat fuse box, a tidy job, a customer who recommends you.

    That's what we show.

How we work it out
  1. What Groei costs, on average a year. 11 × €899 in year 1 (the first month is free), 12 × €649 in year 2 and 12 × €499 from year 3, divided by 3: €7,888.
  2. What a job brings you. What you keep per job, after materials and hours: here €4,300. You enter your own figure in the calculator.
  3. The division. €7,888 ÷ €4,300 = 1.8. Rounded up: from 2 extra jobs a year, Groei has paid for itself. Everything above that is profit.

Example with a margin of €4,300 per job. This is an example, not a promise: what it comes to for you, we work out together.

06 Questions

What electricians ask us.

Your question isn't here? Call us.

0800 7 65 63

Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:30.

My work is inside the wall. What is there to film?

More than you think: the fuse box, the cables before the plaster goes on, the charger charging for the first time, the customer switching on the light. We come and film before the wall is closed up.

I do solar panels, EV chargers and full installations. Which page do I get?

One page per service. Your customer searches “home EV charger”, not “electrician”. Each service is found on its own.

Does this work if I mostly work for contractors?

Less so. It pays most with homeowners who look for an electrician themselves. If you mostly work as a subcontractor, we'll tell you so honestly in the audit.

What does it cost exactly?

Zichtbaar costs €499 a month in year 1, Groei €899 and Vol Gas €1,599. Your price drops every year. There is no set-up fee, and your price is never indexed. All prices exclude VAT.

See the three plans or work it out.

How long before I'm online?

Twelve weeks. In that time we ask for 1 hour at the start, and you check everything once. We do the rest.

How the twelve weeks go.

Does a competitor do worse work, but show it better? They won't take another job from you.
